This knowledge and expertise has been gained from successfully engaging in numerous Maõri community projects within cultural, educational, residential and tourism sectors for more than a decade.

As a design philosophy designTRIBE focuses closely on the maximisation of Mãori architectural knowledge and ways of working with the natural environment to enhance cultural and environmental connection to place. Such a focus includes an emphasis on culturally derived planning principles and the use of sustainable materials and energy sources.
